PupCut AI
Privacy Policy

Your dog's photo stays
your dog's photo.

Last updated: 27 May 2026 · Effective: at v1.0 launch

The TL;DR. PupCut AI processes photos of your dog to generate AI cut previews. We send the photo to our processing pipeline, get the previews back, and delete the original from our servers within minutes. No ad SDKs. No third-party analytics. No selling data. No human ever looks at your photos unless you write to us about a specific issue and attach one.

1. Who we are

PupCut AI is operated by PLAYRIOT, an independent app studio based in the United States. You can reach us anytime at [email protected]. This policy applies to the iOS app and to the marketing site at pupcut.aiappnation.com.

2. What we collect

3. What we don't collect

4. AI processing & how the previews are made

PupCut AI uses Google's Gemini 3 Pro image-generation model, called via our private backend at api.aiappnation.com. We send the model your dog's photo plus a prompt describing the cut style; the model returns a transformed image. Per Google's enterprise terms, model inputs and outputs are not used to train their general models.

Breed detection runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework — your photo never leaves the phone for that step.

5. Where photos live (and for how long)

6. Children's privacy

PupCut AI is rated 4+ on the App Store. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children, adults, or dogs. The app requires no signup, no email, no account.

7. Your choices

8. Apple App Privacy "Nutrition Label"

The disclosure on our App Store listing reads: Data Not Collected. We do not link any data to your identity, and we do not use any data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

9. Security

Photos are sent over HTTPS (TLS 1.3) and processed in a private VPC. Our processing backend has narrow API surface, no public file listing, and short-lived signed URLs. The full deployment infrastructure runs on PLAYRIOT's hardened production environment with continuous monitoring.

10. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g., if we ever start using a new model provider) will be flagged in-app on first launch.

11. How to reach us

Email [email protected]. We are a small studio and we read every message. Replies typically within 1 business day.
